Hi, I’m Michele Ogburn

Therapist for Helping Professionals

I know what it’s like to be in a role where people rely on you every day while you’re quietly carrying more than anyone realizes.

A practical and supportive approach to real change

My work is focused on helping you create real, sustainable change in your daily life. I use a combination of evidence-based approaches, boundary work, and nervous system regulation to help you reduce overwhelm, quiet your mind, and feel more grounded. Sessions are collaborative, supportive, and focused on giving you tools you can actually use outside of therapy.

This work is rooted in real experience

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a sheriff dispatcher and later as a medical social worker in emergency rooms and hospitals, as well as in education. I’ve seen firsthand the emotional toll that high-responsibility roles can take. I’ve also supported first responders through critical incidents and understand the level of pressure that comes with being the one others depend on. This work matters to me because I know how easy it is to lose yourself while taking care of everyone else.
